"You've Got Mail" Reaction

I have viewed "You've Got Mail" several times before and enjoyed watching but I never viewed in the light of CMC. It is obvious through the 10 stages in online relationships from curiosity, investigation,... face-to-face at stage 7 which I find interesting. After Joe, NYC152 realized that Kathleen was Shopgirl he began to display anti-social behaviors over the Internet. Joe had no response for Kathleen via email especially after he stood her up, with no communication it left Kathleen's mind and friends to wonder what could have happened. Shopgirl was expecting more from NYC152 even if it were a made up story.
